How to Get Involved?

This project exists to preserve a body of work, a community, and a history that is at risk of being lost. Many of the individuals, stories, and materials connected to this legacy remain undocumented or dispersed across personal collections, making them increasingly vulnerable to time, deterioration, and inaccessibility.

Without immediate action, firsthand accounts may go unrecorded, and significant cultural materials may never be properly preserved or contextualized for future generations.

The Wonderment Project addresses this urgency through a multi-part initiative:

  • A documentary film capturing personal narratives and historical context
  • A dedicated archive preserving photographs, exhibition materials, and oral histories
  • Educational resources designed to make this history and art accessible to broader audiences

Together, these efforts aim not only to document the past but to create a lasting, publicly accessible record that supports research, education, and continued cultural engagement.

This is an opportunity to ensure that an important legacy is preserved with care, accuracy, and the depth it deserves—before it becomes irretrievable.

Fund the Project

We are currently seeking immediate support to launch the first phase of production. Funding at this stage directly enables filming, preservation, and the infrastructure needed to build a lasting archive.

Your contribution will support:
  • Production equipment for on-site filming and interviews
  • Essential software for editing, cataloging, and archive management
  • Secure digital storage for long-term preservation of materials
  • Acquisition of a high-quality scanner for digitizing photographs and documents

Make an Introduction

Connections can be just as impactful as funding. We welcome introductions to individuals and organizations who can help advance the project across its key areas.

We are seeking introductions to:
  • Documentary and film professionals
  • Archivists, historians, and cultural institutions
  • Educators and academic partners
  • Journalists, editors, and media outlets
  • Philanthropic individuals and foundations

Contribute to the ARchive

The Wonderment Project is built on community participation. We are actively gathering materials and stories that help document this history with care and accuracy.

We are planning to begin filming interviews in Fall 2026, with the ability to conduct in-person conversations depending on location and available funding. Please note: at this time, we are only accepting donated materials. We are not able to facilitate loans.

All contributions will be preserved, documented, and credited appropriately as part of the archive.

We are currently accepting:
  • Oral history participants for recorded interviews
  • Personal photographs and visual materials
  • Exhibition documentation, catalogs and materials
  • Critic Reviews & Essays
